The Desert Matte Painting is a composition of eight images that were created and refined using Photoshop. Throughout this project, my primary focus was on the crucial elements of lighting and shading, which can make or break an image. To achieve the desired effect, I employed my imagination to envision the position of the sun or moon in the image and then determined the areas that would receive more light. I used brightness and contrast tools to adjust the relevant sections accordingly. The accompanying Photo Grid illustrates the design process, while the Final Image is presented below.
